Our Engine Warranty Details

One Year or 12,000 Mile Protection

To keep your warranty active, all service work must happen at PCM Automotive. We do not pay for outside mechanic fees or labor costs. If you live out of state, the engine block must be shipped back to our shop for a full inspection. We are dedicated to getting your commuter vehicle back on the road.

Core Internal Engine Parts

We cover the essential moving parts inside your engine, including the crankshaft, pistons, and valves. Valid coverage requires standard daily driving, routine oil changes, and following our engine break-in guide. Any racing, engine modifications, or extreme driving uses will immediately void this protection.

Used Part Policies and Returns

We provide dependable recycled Subaru components for your daily repair needs. While sold as-is, we offer a functional protection period so you can be confident the part works correctly when it arrives at your door.

Standard Inspection

Prior to boxing, our staff manually inspects every part for cracks or wear. We check sensors and mechanical movements to ensure they meet everyday safety requirements and reliable driving standards.

Installation Help

All pre-owned components come with a basic functional guarantee. If the part fails to operate upon initial install, we will provide a replacement part or a store credit for the cost of the item.

Certified Fitment

To stay eligible for claims, parts must be installed by PCM Automotive or a certified repair shop. Damage from home installation, abuse, or unauthorized vehicle mods will result in no coverage.

How to Start Claim

Service Timeline

Step 1: Call PCM Automotive as soon as you notice an issue. Step 2: Show us your odometer reading and maintenance receipts. Step 3: Our shop will review your info and ask for photos or a professional shop report to help us understand the problem.

Mail-In Requirements

For long-distance rebuilds, the engine must be returned to PCM Automotive at the owner's shipping cost for a physical check. We cannot approve a warranty claim until we inspect the mechanical components in person.
